Medium and Cages

Medium here.
Follow up on my visit to see the clairvoyant.
She said that she saw me in cage.
Bound up and locked in a small cage.
Long and narrow.

Then she noticed the condition of my feet.
Blisters and dry skin. Hmm...

Wow! Was she spot on!
Yes, that describes my current position at work.
Just over a year ago, I was transfered to this office, where I work alone.
It was `exile' for being different to the others. `My way' was too weird for the others to accept.

It is a small place, like a studio apartment.
I have been really lonely.

Recently, I have been having problems with my feet and my legs have felt really stiff. My right knee cramps up sometimes. You don't have to be a Nobel Prize Winner to guess at the emotional/spiritual reasons for my physical problems.

Yes, I deserve something better and I am taking steps to break free. You see, the insight I got was that the cage is actually not locked. I have the key to this office, which means I can get in and also, I can get out!

Are you waiting for someone to rescue you or could you open the door and step out?

Kind of reminds me of an old saying...
